Hi all,
I am wondering if I should keep Mango's food dish in her cage until next feeding or take it out after a few hours? She seems to want to graze throughout the day and gets a bit mad when there is no food in there.
She started to eat her Roudybush pellets but I had to grind them up into smaller bits because they were too big for her little 8week old beak. I picked through her seed to get all the peanuts and sunflowers out and saved them for treats and had to throw away some sunflower treats I got at petsmart because they had a sugar coating I wasn't aware of ugg. I finally found a fruit/veg she likes!!! Peaches woot woot.no pits for sure but she gobbled it up and buried her whole beak into it lol. OMG the morning poop was ginormous!!!!lol:rainbow1::rainbow1::rainbow1:

I free-feed my flock and their bowls usually have food. Except for the time between tossing food overboard and my noticing and adding some more!

Some prefer to feed at specific times, don't think there is a "right" answer. Just the procedure that works for you and your birds.

Thank you,
She seems to want to nibble throughout the day. I am learning about the amount to put out.
