And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
… What is a proper "serving" for a 500g-ish fid?? Amy gets one real serving a day,in the morning (Remember? Brekky is always the most important meal of the day ) And its a good sized bowl. I start with two to three tablespoons of Bird Street Bistro grub and add whatever fresh veggies/fruit I happen to have. This morning it was two tablespoons of mixed/diced peppers,a couple heads of broc and cauliflour. Fruit was three or four red grapes and a piece of watermelon, other days its two or three slices of 'nana, then topped off with a small piece of raison cinnamon bread with almond butter for his heart med.
His other bowl has Roudybush pellets and I might add a couple whole almonds and a small amount of honeynut cheerios and a nutraberry or two. Today instead of the berries it was a small amount of Bear Naked fruit and nut granola. I remove this around noon and he has his pellets and other added goodies to munch on during the day. Then in the evening he'll get another two tablespoons of Birdy Bistro ( a different flavor of course!)
How much/how often,do you feed your "large" fid?? Just curious.
