Favorite new toy!

[Bongo]

The other night I came across an orange ping pong ball in a game I was throwing out. I cleaned it up and put it in the bottom of Bongo's cage. He absolutely loves bouncing it around and letting it roll around the grates of his cage. He will balance it on the side of his beak and roll it up the side of the cage and then let it bounce away. I think he likes all the noise he can make. He can't get his beak around it, so it should hold up pretty well.
It is pretty good entertainment, I will try to get a video of it!

If you are looking to get your bird a toy for 25 cents, this is a pretty good bet!

Does anyone else have a bird that likes this too??

My birdies love those golfball sized wiffle balls. Especially if I put stuff in them to pull out. They like that there are holes to grip on to. I'll try ping pong balls too.

Bongo really likes the wiffle balls too, but I think he likes being able to send the ping pong ball across the cage with little effort. Of course that is followed by chasing after it and pouncing on it again!

i have a couple of balls for my concure which have holes in them and a bell on the inside. he absolutely loves throwing them around the cage and making as much noise as possible... i have to take them away when i go to bed otherwise he uses them to wake me up at 5am...

Interesting fact that I didn't know about parrots... How can you explain this?
