My Photobucket videos seem to load too slowly... it got better after I started using Google Chrome on this site) but the videos are still slowwwww. Does anybody have a web host that they find fast? Or any suggestions for using Photobucket better? I just tried uploading a video from Photobucket using Google Chrome, but it's no better... is that maybe because the video was first loaded to Photobucket using regular Google? I think I'll test that hypothesis myself.
Meanwhile... HELP, PLEEEASE?

Here's a sample video. Is it slow for you, too?

I'd still like any input, but...
I did just discover that use of Google Chrome consistently (to upload to Photobucket and then also to transfer links to this site (while running Chrome), DOES SEEM TO BE FASTER for me, and hopefully for y'all, too when you visit my vids.

I hear that Imgur is a good host... has anybody had experience?

I have the best luck with my videos loading faster on Youtube:)

I had heard that, Fl! Thanks.

YOUTUBE! Thanks, Terry.

I used that for Rb's "movie", and now I recall... it WAS/IS faster.
Now if I can only recall my YouTube password...

I remembered my password!
Yes, YouTube is imminently faster.
To those of you who visit the Rickeybird's Scrapbook, you will henceforth never again have to deal with Photobucket, and I would certainly recommend YouTube to anybody who's irritated with a different host.
Thanks, Terry.
I need to have my brain jump-started every now and then.
Look how much faster THIS is!Better quality, too, I think.
For those of you considering getting started with posting videos... YouTube is the way to go, I believe.

Oh, I feel your pain! When I first started uploading videos, I only ever used Photobucket. I wanted to kick myself once I discovered how much faster YouTube was for the video format! Unbelievable!

Do videos on Youtube stay private ie to selected audience or once you put them on they are there forever and for everyone on the planet to see?

Depends on the preferences you select. Some people prefer for it to be a searchable option so that anyone looking for something along those lines can happen upon their video. But I've set up my personal preferences so that people can only get to an individual video of mine via a provided link rather than via a search.

YAY Gail! 2 RBs for the price of one!
