Fargo 3 new tricks :p

Hello again,

I was asked by someone special to show you guys the new videos of Fargos tricks!

He learnt to say hello on command, nod yes, and climb a rope hehe

He also learnt to target, but that was incredibly easy hahaha

Just to let everyone know, i don't force Fargo to learn all these tricks like a performing monkey, we only do 10 minutes of training a day, he just picks up on things incredibly quickly and he absolutely loves it D:

He also got a skateboard for christmas, so i will take a photo with him on it

thanks everyone! hehe i can't believe how quickly he learnt to nod! it only took him a day to learn the difference between the nod and hello

and- at the moment we are working on the superman/yoga/stretch trick, he is only doing it on command like 50% of the time

So including target, he knows 13 tricks and learning number 14 <3

Phenomenal! Fargo never ceases to amaze me....as does the young lady who he obviously loves VERY much.

You 2 have an incredible, WONDERFUL bond that words can't even describe.

Well, when Fargo says hello he did this big nod, so after he learnt hello on command- (which was done by saying hello and nodding), i then just said hello for the hello command and removed the nod...
so then i would say NOD!! and moved my head and he would say hello and nod.... but he wouldn't get a treat, i would then ask again, he nodded without saying hello, he got a treat..

it only took him a day to figure out the difference between hello and nodding

I always enjoy your videos of Frago. Macaws are smart birds and there are professional parrot performers that taught Macaws alot of tricks. Of course other parrot species can learn tricks too. But is is cool how Frago pics up on it so fast. Makes me wonder if some parrots can get to a place where they can read humans somewhat. A dog has the mentality of a two year old and they have a habit of being able to read us somewhat.
