My son just found a person, apparently in Georgia, looking to find homes for two Macaws. I sent him (her) a text, trying to see if I could help him find a new home(s). He said he had someone interested and then went into high pressure "sales" on shipping them to me in Illinois.

Red flags are popping up everywhere (in my head)!

Anyone else see this? Know anything about this Facebook entry? Or, the person in possession of these two Macaws?

sounds like a scam I wouldnt have him ship them if its not a scam Im in georgia and can help find a home.

I have another text waiting on an answer, plus I sent MarciaLove his info. If nothing else happens we can at least ecpose the scam, if it is real, maybe she can help him find them homes.

It's what I figured, I told him Georgia was too far for me and that I would want to spend time with the birds in their current home to observe and interact with them. He went "high pressure" on me. Thats is when, and why, I started this thread.
