Exciting news!

Soooo.... I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be welcoming a new addition to my flock this summer! I paid the deposit just a few weeks ago for a male Galah/Rose breasted 'too. He's just 3 months old and oh so cute. I'm SO excited and CAN'T WAIT to meet him!

I'm still trying to decide on the perfect name. I really like Merlin and my boyfriend wants to name him Rocket, but nothing's final yet. I'm open to any suggestions. What do you guys think?

Congratulations! I think Rose Breasted babies are among the cutest!

RB/Galah also have probably the SOFTEST feathers of any parrot. The other Toos and Poi's being a close second. I recently met a baby at a store still weaning and omg it was the most adorable thing ever.

Congratulations! He is so adorable. There is two baby galahs at the local pet store...if I had a couple thousand laying around we would have another cockatoo right now

Aww, what a sweetie... I think Rocket's a great name as well, although Merlin probably fits a bit better with Luna and Picasso! Either way, congratulations and welcome to galah club!

They are my favorite toos. My daughter thinks they are gorgeous because they are pink and I can't help but agree.

I like both names. Merlin fits better with your other two but Rocket is sweet also. I fell in love with Galahs at the breeders I got Mojo from. She had a baby there and it was so stinkin cute. Little baby dinosaur. One day, I shall have my Galah.

He's coming from an awesome breeder in Virginia. I won't have to drive too far, luckily.

If I could have a cockatoo the RB is the one I would choose. Congrats on your new baby, I love the name Rocket! Is there a prettier color combo than pink and grey? I don't think so!

That would be sweet! Corellas & galahs are a good combo of 'too personality to have around, in my opinion. If I ever decide to get a second cockatoo, it would most likely be a bare eyed.

I think Merlin fits better with your other birds names, but I think that little guy looks like "Rocket" would suit him better

Just curious- what made you guys decide on a galah? For us, when my hubby saw videos on YouTube with all the super cuteness, that sealed the deal lol

Yay !! getting him from VA and driving is GREAT !! So I guess you are visiting?
BTW as a guy I think I like Rocket better cause it is SO Unique & Different !!

Next visit I am bringing a Harness to my baby to start training him into it
