I am very excited to have found this forum, although a little overwhelmed about where to start reading! So much information and interesting topics. I have only owned parrots for a few years, but it has become my passion. It is a little awkward though that I don't seem to have met many other people who own or understand parrots, and decided to look for a forum where people shared my interest. Most of my birds are older birds that have been rehomed, and even one wild caught conure, but I have also had the pleasure of adopting one of my parrots at 6wks old so enjoyed hand feeding her for a couple more weeks after I got her, as well has having a couple of younger parrots that were not in their first homes long. I am looking forward to learning from other people out there, and sharing thoughts and feelings about these amazing pets.

So I don't know if this will work, but I tried to attach a couple images. I got a nifty new toy today for my Caique, Cookie. It is a swing toy with tons of strings. There was no spare room in his cage, so I hung it on the java branch attached to the top of his cage, and he loves it! So hopefully it will show in this post. I also tried to attach a picture of my newest addition, my 30+ yr old grey who is out in the other room practicing his new whistle, a portion of the Andy Griffith theme my husband taught him. He may not talk, but he has taken quite a liking to Andy Griffith!

The CAG in the picture is Gizmo.
He looks a little nervous in the picture because he hasn't been here long yet, but I have known him for over a year and we were buddies before he came here. The house and mostly everyone else here is new to him though. I also had fun making an album with pics of all my birds. :D

Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing the pictures. :)
