EVERYTHING belongs to Ripley

Ripley seems to think that EVERYTHING belongs to him, NO exceptions. And he'll move mountains (or other birds) to get what he wants. :54:

Yesterday morning I was refilling some Amazon toys, and Ripley decided the wooden blocks were his. I really wish I would have had the camera on me then, as it was hysterical.

This morning I tried to re-enact what happened yesterday, but of course it wasn't nearly as funny.

Obviously THIS piece of wood is NOT for Ripley....or is it???

Lastly he decided he was not going to wait until I was done chopping fruits and veggies. He HAD to have a grape right then and there.

Those videos were really cute and I must say Ripley is very good about going back to his perch when you tell him. He is so pretty, and I love how the zons just looked at him but obviously don't feel threatened by him.

Mishka can come over ANY TIME he wants. The more the merrier.

He sure does, Sandy!! I truly wish I could have captured him yesterday though. I was refilling one of the Amazon's toys, and Ripley hopped over to the counter, Hunter scrammed up my arm, but Sam stayed put on the cement perch, eyeballing Ripley. Then Sam flared up, doing the swiping motion, even growled and lunged at Ripley. Ripley looked at Sam, knocked him off the perch, grabbed the ENTIRE toy I was filling, and hopped back to the Java tree.

Nobody was hurt, but the look on Sam's face was hilarious!

Yes, MOST of the time Ripley just grabs what he's after and then goes back to his tree. Mind you I said "most of the time."

I know when Ripley did his back and forths this morning, Sam didn't bother with his display mode. But then again, he might be waiting for the PERFECT opportunity, keeping me on my tippy toes.

Thanks SO much!! Those are 2 big Java trees put right next to each other. AND, since my big macs got a taste for the java wood, I've attached lots of dragonwood branches, in hopes they'd chew them instead. Yeah...as if I'd be so lucky! :30:

Oh yes, Ripley is QUITE ornery, but in such a lovable way.

Now...WHAT kitty toy are you talking about?? I have no kitties, I swear. (I have a feeling I'm going to be embarrassed by your response, as I'm probably having one of my "too slow" moments. )
