This is LILO. I know I had posted earlier about getting on a waiting list, but I ended up getting her. It's a long story, but to make it short, we met the owner at a bird show we had gone to. We had talked to him about her to find out the breeder he had gotten her from. It turns out that he got her from a guy that had raised her from an egg and couldn't keep her anymore. Moving or something like that. Anyway, he got her and kept her in his dorm at school. They had a fire drill and he got busted with her. His mom knew about her, but his dad didn't. So at the show he was telling us this story and that he might have to give her up. We gave him our info and said if you decide to give her up call us.
About 3 weeks go by, I put a deposit down on an egg. I get an email from him 2 days after I send the deposit in. He said he has tried to get the apartment he is moving to to allow her, but they would not, so he has to rehome her.
So today I went and picked her up. She/he is 13 months old and is just as sweet as can be. My wife fell in love with her the first time we saw her at the show.
So everyone meet LILO
