Well this is offically the first forum I am a member of! I'm not sure how it works but I definitely want to know more about my feather child.

A little about me. I'm 22 years old, my family has owned a few birds in the past but I've never had one myself. I've done a lot of reading and prepping for this bird and found...at least what I thought was a decent breeder.

Anywho! About Petrie... He was born 4/7/2010. So a little over 6 months old. He's an amazing little guy. The breeder had him DNA sexed along with some other tests. He is a White Capped Pionus parrot...and currently the love of my life. I've only had him for 3 days now but he's amazing.

I want to find out as much about him and other birds as I can as well as talk to other owners!

Also I might want to add that he already knows "step up" and he's very hand friendly... All around friendly actually.
