When I left the room Chili was in her cage, and when I came back she was on her jungle gym. What the?! Door is closed and latched, food doors are all closed...wait! there's ONE food door not latched...hmmmm I think she must've escaped out the unlatched food door and politely closed it on her way out. *sigh* little smarty pants!!

Gotta love them!!

My red lored used to drive me nuts. She could open and close her cage door and would LATCH HERSELF BACK IN shortly before I got home from work...

How did these toys get on the floor. I thought I cleaned up all the bird poop before I left for work... I must be losing my mind!!

THEN I CAME HOME FROM WORK EARLY ONE DAY - BUSTED!! She flew back to her cage and locked it, but not before I saw it all happen...

Macaws are less tactful...

My GW removed the latches from her cage door. As in pried them off!

My Red Front once disassembled her treat cup door...

This is one of the many reasons why cage doors no longer close at my place. It didn't do any good, so I give up!

Don't think of it as a cage. Think of it as a really expensive puzzle toy!

Birdman- LOL sneaky little booger!!

I seriously thought I lost my mind- I walked in and saw her OUT of the cage and just stood there dumbfounded and thought "seriously?! No way..."

I've seen her go through the food door before, but the door was open and I was standing there watching her. This time the door was still shut (but not latched!).

Never underestimate their sneakiness...
