Well the vet trip went much better. This vet is closer, and actually knows what the hell she's doing. A set of X-rays later and we have at least something to go by.
The biggest problem is with Embers leg. She's a large sore on it and I initially thought is was a scrape she left alone. Now with the X-rays the vet showed me, I know there's some sort of buildup. She's contacting other bird experts as she says she hasn't seen anything like this before.
That said, we finally have pain killers for her! I honestly think that will do a lot more good than constantly agitating the wound with little regard for her comfort, as the last vet would have me do.
As well, there doesn't seam to be any respiratory issue which is a great relief. She's now wearing a cone, and due to it is having a little mobility trouble, but I think I can solve that easily with a few sturdy climbing ropes.
