Eloy is the best!!

I'm so happy tonight because earlier today I manage to rasp (nail-file) Eloys claws.
I have never train him for that more then hold his feet a short while.

Today I only want to see what happens if i rasp a little bit on each claws.
For every claw he get threats and he understand that he was doing something really good and after a short while all 8 claws were done. YES!!

Sorry for posting such a simple thing, but this is something really big for me.

Yes, and the smile on my lips are still their. I hope he trust me, and i can never do anything to hurt him and I hope he feels that.

that a good idea, on fileing there nails. I don't want to clip peanut my ringneck nail because his nails are black and can't see the vains... Thanks for posting this, when Peanut is older I will rather file the nails...

I think it's a good idea to start practice now. But use something that doesn't grinding down his claws.

I am so jealous! I wish I could do this with my guys. I've been trying, but they want nothing to do with it. You should be very proud of Eloy. You guys have a special bond to allow him to give him a manicure.

I'm very, very proud of Eloy in so many ways. I love him so it hurts, and I will do everything to keep him safe. Perhaps he understands that?

I have that bond with my ringneck and only had Peanut for 2weeks. can't even think why it took me so long to get a ringneck again..... and will start teaching my little Nut to have manicures
