Continuation of the title: Lafeber itself said garlic is toxic!

When confronted about that, the person in charge of the facebook page quickly edited the post to remove the garlic ingredient and claimed it was a mistake, then apparently went so far as to remove the ingredient from the main website, as quickly as that. Then, a user posted a screenshot of the ingredient list of El Paso Nutriberries that he/she had in his/her possession and it says it contains Garlic Powder. The facebook representative quickly said "that ingredient list is incorrect".

Really? How do you even do this kind of mistake? If it does not contain garlic at all, how the hell did that ingredient come up as a "mistake" in the ingredients list? Contacted Lafeber for more clarification, meanwhile, watch out people!

Update from Lafeber, they replied to me with this:

Hello HenryC, thank you for reaching out to us with your questions and concerns.

It is true that there was garlic in the El Paso Nutri-Berries. Garlic actually has many healing properties and antibacterial purposes. There are many other benefits to garlic as well. Many birds are actually able to have garlic in moderation although some birds do not tolerate it well. Therefore in the avian community, it has held that garlic is bad and should not be given. Lafeber Company uses the top avian nutritionists and veterinarians to develop the diets used, and have never had ill effects from a parrot using the El Paso Nutri-Berries. That being said, because of customer demand, last year we decided to remove the garlic to be more in line with modern practice. Our website had not yet been updated yet for administrative purposes reflective to our new packaging, as we are not yet filling the bags. That new packaging is actually being debuted at the Global Pet Expo this week in Florida, and consumers will be able to see that the garlic is not listed as an ingredient. Because of exportation laws, the website must concur with what is listed on the packaging and had not yet been changed. Our products also have an 18 month shelf life, and so there are thousands of packages that will still be out there listing garlic as an ingredient once we begin using the new packaging.
