I just noticed that my 1 1/2 year old female eclectus has skin missing on the side of one of her back toes. It looks yellowish in color (dry, not oozing or flaking) and I cant think of anything that could have caused it. She seems mildly irritated when I try to touch it, and she tongues it every once in a while (but doesnt actually pick at it). Bottoms of her feet appear normal, and she has a large variety of perches in her cage. Anyone know what this is or what could have caused it? Should I take her to a vet or is this something that will heal on its own? Thanks in advance.

Hi mariahc, welcome to a super forum
Not familiar with dry skin, all I know is to apply Aloe Vera (here in South Africa)
Below I have attached a link pertaining skin problems.
Read the first page, then on the left side click on Eclectus Parrots, more info there.
