I woke up this morning to find all the tail feathers on our female Solomon Island Eclectus (Fannie) chopped off near the base and no feather anywhere to be seen. She has been a minor feather picker in the past but this is weird. Is this possible or am I missing something?

Very strange, I don't think she ate them, do you have a dog? Mine will eat dropped feathers if I don't grab them in time. Funny they are terrified of the actually birds but will eat a stray feather.
She isn't outside is she?

They don't eat them, but I have seen them pluck them and shred them into bits... but there would be evidence of that, pretty much everywhere.

I've never seen a bird intentionally ingest a feather before.

She's not outside and no pets other than birds.
