Rocky has this habit of making a sound like somebody has punched him when I correct a behavior. Last night, for example, he tried to chomp me in a sensitive place, and I pushed his beak away with ONE FINGER. He made that sound. Imagine a human being punched in the stomach, in a cockatoo voice. "OOOOOOOF." I did NOT hurt you! Good grief.
A couple of weeks ago, he wouldn't move his foot so I could close his cage. Had the claw wrapped around the door frame. I tapped on his foot and tried to make him let go, again ONE FINGER.
"OOOOOOOOOF!"
He invariably does this when Hubby is out of the room, so Hubby either comes or calls, "What happened to Rocky?"
Nothing. Nothing happened to Rocky. He's being a big baby and trying to make me feel guilty when I haven't even DONE anything to him, yet he bruises me and makes me bleed and I'm supposed to not even complain a little about that.
Is this just a Rocky thing, or is it a cockatoo thing?
