Don't Cry!

I think Jackie is sensitive to crying... When my son cries she quiets down and says "it's ok, it's alright... I'm sorry..".
But if she hears an adult crying she squawks really loud "DON'T CRY!!" "I'm sorry!!!" "DON'T CRY!!".

Kind of makes me wonder...

It kinda makes me wonder if she was around some rough relationships.

They learn what they live. It would seem that her previous owners had some issues. See how we affect our pets?

Her previous owners were elderly, and I know Winnie was put in a home for Alzheimer's, right? Perhaps she had crying spells, and the kids would get impatient. It's hard to watch an adult act like a baby. :/

Yeah, it was amusing at first... But now I realize what she may have had to witness and it breaks my heart :/ just because they're animals doesn't mean they don't soak up our actions, emotions, and words.

Mistywaterwoman... True, it may not necessarily have been abuse situations, but difficult situations- life situations. Like her husband passing away- I'm sure there was some crying at that time too, and whatever episodes the Alzheimer's brought on.
