Yes, fully understand present danger!! But to the question, walked into my back yard this morning and ran into a horrific mess. Feathers every where and a very large dead bird! Grey in color and from toe to beak, 15 inches? At first thought it was a hawk, but claws and beak were clearly not of a preditor bird. I just realized it has a very prominent comb! Rooster?? From where? Also a fully fenced in yard. Only poultry I knew could fly are bantie's, much smaller and colorful. I know, if it walks like a duck---- but!
No band! Rooster?

Unless I'm wrong, virtually all chickens can fly, unless they've had their wings pinioned.....you could browse the net for pics of grey chickens or search for exotic chickens...here's a UK link to get started with.....

Good luck.....

Yep, from firsthand experience chickens CAN fly pretty well

My chickens can fly, all the way up into the top of the pole barn rafters.

Quite wild, no chickens around, but my daughter, vet tech, verified it is a rooster! From where? No idea! How this poor guy got into my yard-?? Good reality check!
