Basically just the title is the question. I'm looking to order some zupreem Embrace Plus for my sun conure baby and need to know if it ever expires as I need to know whether buying it now online will just cause me to waste money and such.

I get the bird in about 20-30 days I believe from today so I have sometime but I like to be prepared before hand!

So again, does Zupreem Embrace Plus hand feeding formula ever expire? If so how long?

Does it not have expiration date printed on there? I need to see what my bag says tonight...

I don't actually have the bag, I'm curious as to know whether or not they do expire so I know when to buy the bag.

I'd check my local stores but all they have is KT extract and my breeder strongly suggest not getting that.

I have used Kaytee before, they're fine! I've raised a ton of babies with it plus wild birds too....

I might buy it just to test it out. She said when she used it before that she found it clumbed to often.

What she mean by clump? When I mixed the formula, it had a creamy texture to it.

I use Topper Elite, but you can use Zupreem Embrace if you want, just dont use KT Exact, it seems to clump up in the crop.

That what she told me exactly.

Yes I do recall it doing that, but I think its when the formula is mixed too thick and over fill of the crop.

I think I'll stick with Zupreem or topper. I trust you but I don't want to take to many chances considering I'm new to this whole thing lol.

You mentioned that you have a bag at home, did you find a expire date?

Im still at work....ill be home about an hour.

I get bored....lol....Anyway,,,,I looked on the bag and it has a expiration date over a year. Mine doesn't expire until July of next year....

Yes all hand-rearing formulas have a use by date stamped on the bag. Usually 12 months.

However i keep all my bird products in the freezer including my rearing formulars.

If you mix the formula exactly to the directions you should not have any form of compaction in the crop at all.

Alright thank you very much for checking you two! Now I don't need to worry about getting it to early and it going bad on me :)
