Does my cockatoo want a "bed"?

Last night Kili nudged herself under my bed quilt and started settling in like a chicken nesting. She seemed so happy under there. She started eating my pillow, though! Does anyone use any kind of bedding or hanging bird cave for their parrots? I saw one online for a little parrot, but haven't seen anything for a big parrot like my cockatoo. Is it just a fluke, or is this normal? Should I throw a towel in her cage, or is there something hanging that I should buy?

Curious of this myself, I've seen the tents for younger/smaller birds, but never large ones.

This is a DIY swing I made for my U2. She uses it for a bed and is very attached to it.

And here's a different version.

One of my Toos has a special fondness for resting in an open treat-cup receptacle of a stand. It's circular with a single 1/2 inch bar-type retainer at the bottom. He inserts his body into the circle, grasps the bar with both feet, and pulls a rope-toy toward him to cover his body. Occasionally he will also grasp a section of plastic chain and loop it across his back!

I think I'm going to experiment with different home made things. Last night Kili again nudged her whole body under my quilt and settled right in. She of course started eating the underside of the bedding so I had to pull her out quickly!
