Does anyone have this cage from Hilo Harbor?

I would not go with a wire cage as a permanent home, there are too many trap points for your little guy cto loose a toe! They also rust easily, the doors and feed stations are easy for your guy to figure out how to open!

I knew someone who had the black version of that cage or at least it looked extremely similar with the fancy scroll work. It seemed ok for a smaller parrot. I don't think it was wire (like cheap cages at petsmart) either. It was just thinner gauge wrought iron suitable for smaller parrots but it wasn't flimsy. Except for stainless steel, any cage that's coating chips is liable to rust. Most cages will need to be replaced about every 10 years for this reason some even sooner depending on how hard the bird is on the cage and the quality of the cage.

Most people quickly find that 'looks stylish' is quickly off-set by ease of removing bird poo! Same for the domed top. So, look long and hard at the easy of access and easy of cleaning. Just my two cents!

Large full height front door is a real important item!

I would use it as a night time cage for an amazon but not an all day thing.
Looks on the small side for a Zon.

my cage is similar, but not exactly. The product description leaves a lot to e desired...

"Product description Size:1/2" Bar Spacing | Color:Black Silver
#######################......................"

If the top opens up, and it looks like it does, don't ever use that!... except to add a new perch or toy or something. Those doors can close like a deathtrap when a bird is sitting on them even when held open with a perch.

Not for nothing below it in the "others looked at" area are a lot more bang for the buck for about the same amount.

Thanks guys for the responses. This is for a Bourkeā€™s Parakeet so Iā€™m not concerned about him opening or damaging the cage. Most of the cages on the already looked at, had bar spacing Greater Than 1/2ā€. I liked the wide version of the large vision cage, but I would need a stand or buy a dedicated table for it. My budget is $100 +/- $25ish
