Audrey is in love with this particular toy. I've been collecting so many different toys over time, some crazy expensive, some cheap (Funny, she never seems to like the expensive ones!) Huge, small, medium, different textures, different materiels.. But this one I've found is her ultimate favorite.. I have to replace it every week lol! Thankfully its on the cheaper side :)

Do your birds have a favorite toy? :)

I'm not sure if Fargo has a FAVOURITE, he just likes anything until its destroyed, but he loves his foraging box!
But he did enjoy his massive toy from MSBS :)

Haha wow Fargo!! How long did it take him to do that! xD

Codie has a large bell in his Cage and this is by far his favourite:) He swings upside down on it, sits on top of it, swings it from side to side and if he is in a bad mood, then he will just grab hold of the bell part and bash it full pelt against the bars of the Cage:)

Haha Wenz thats cute! It must be one of those indestructible bells! :D

LOL... Its not an indestructable one.. he doesn't like them ones:( so, I have to replace this one every couple of Months :)

Mango loves anything with a rubbery texture. We got him a rubber ball similar to a dog kong filled with shredded paper and bells. He was so obsessed with it we had to move it with him from his cage to play stand or he would call for it. He removed the stuffing within minutes, but he wasnt interested in that. It took him about a week, but he completely tore it into pieces and destroyed it. There are little pieces of rubber all over my house, and he will sit literally for hours just nomming it with his beak. Its the only thing that keeps him sitting still. Im going to go back to the store and buy all of them.

Right now, Sugar's favorite toy is a metal grommet from a pair of Hubs pants. It's her "chewy" and OMG if she sees it, nothing else in the world matters!! She will sit and "chew" on it for hours. It took her several weeks to chew it off of his jeans and now, she has to have it! We'll need the power of the Universe if we ever lose that thing, and it's tiny (not tiny for her, but tiny in the scheme of things).

Loki's favorite is a rubber ball with a bell inside. It's rubber "strings" and practically indestructible. That and his fleece shreds with the bell on that he cuddles up to at night.

me and anything I'm wearing.

Due to losing 2-3 watches, I now will not wear a watch (or my prescription glasses) with the birds around me. My wife and I just got new watches and they ain't gonna "eat" them!!:54:

Any toys they get don't last like they use to, lucky if they last 30 minutes now a days.:31:

I bought many expensive toys to my AG, but in the end it looks like she prefers simple toys that I make her from whatever I can find at home. And for my cockatiel jewellery such as my earring is the best. Every time I take her out of cage runs strait ahead to my shoulder and tries to steal it:)

Oliver's is the daily newspaper!

Bella and Zora's is a gigantic Chinese finger trap toy with palm daisies and birdy bagels and palm braids. I'll take pics once I get home.

For Niko: Anything colorful and wood...and leather....and me... ;)

Hunter: Things that make noise

Sam: EVERYTHING that can be hung on, climbed on, and laid on. :54:

Like Wendy#s YC , my zons love their bells. They know to ring them for attention, louder gets faster response. Of course the first thing to go is the "ringer" inside. That's the 'weakest" point.I now use the bells made from a piece of pipe, sort of cow bell type. They can't get to the ringer.

Cool responses everyone! Audrey loves attacking bells, its the first thing she goes for on a toy, until the little ringer falls out. I'm not sure if she loves them or hates them lol! :p

Not sure if anyone else does, but in addition to the expensive parrot toys, I also pick up baby toys at the flea market from time to time for Kiwi (he doesn't know the difference, but my wallet does). Shortly after we got him, I got him a whole bag of toy tools. He immediately fell passionately in love with the "clamp". Besides washing it, he has had it in his cage all the time for 5 years and still hasn't lost interest. He looses interest in other toys pretty fast, but not that silly clamp. He's always dragging it around, "unscrewing" it, and has figured out how to "hook" it over his branch. It's so funny to see him with it, because it's almost as big as him and just not something you expect to see a parrot carry around. Besides that, he loves anything with knots and beads. Since he's not a big chewer (thank god) we can re-use the same wood beads and leather toys over and over again. I'm not sure he likes them per say, but he does go after his many foraging toys with a vengeance (we get the reusable acrylic kind, and must have almost every kind on the market at this point lol).:green:

We call that "reverse doorbell". Basil does it all the time with his bells and it means "Mommy let me out NOW". He doesn't have any favourite toys (although he has many many toys that are always rotating through his cage). I am his favourite toy. My clothes (full of puncture holes), my ring, my watch, my earrings and ears, my hair and the elastic holding my ponytail. But most of all my shoulder. It's his favourite perch.

what ReaRea does to bells

Merlin has a big bell in his cage, he rings that when he wants out. Usually anyway. Merlin's favourite toy is probably actually his lego pieces. He loves strips of leather he can chew and hold with his dicky foot, but yeah... lego probably wins out each time. :)

Your right wendy, even the zons would kill that bell in minutes.
