Do they like rain?

will my budgies and parrakeets like rain if i put them out for a half hour?

As long as they are not stressed, let them love it.
I suggest, suck it and see. Put them out there and sit with them.
If they are not stressed, wander off and see how they go.
Keep an eye on them, and if they love it, your a hero,.... if they hate it, you can take them inside, and your still a hero for saving them.
Its a win=win.

The only thing you can do is try. As Red said, its a win win situation whatever you do, one way or the other you will be a hero. If you are putting them out in the rain, have you got somewhere they can go to get into away from the rain if they wanted to.

Well the idea sounds challenging for the birds but I thought that cities have a quite polluted atmosphere and rain brings down all this which will stick on their plumage that they clean with their tongues.Why not a usual shower?Or did I think tooo far?I'm not sure If I would try it..

I think the rain would be an okay thing. Do you normally take them outside? It might be best to take them outside a few times a week or so before letting them be in the rain, so at least they'll get comfortable with being outside before they get rained on.
