vincent-b/g macaw archie-alexandrine and coming in june greenwing macaw and millitary macaw this year too fingers crossed
hey guys well me and my gf both had the cold. so we didnt handle the birds to much. but since yesterday vincent our macaw has been sneezing a bit, with small amount of discharge comming from his nostril after he sneezes just like us i suppose.

hes going to vet tomorrow for nail trim and check up, but i was just wanting to know is it something to be worried about. ????

He most likely needs antibiotics Our birds do not usually do well under a temp. of 65 degrees.

I don't think he means his bird WAS cold, he means that he thinks he caught a cold/sickness from them. :)

I don't think birds can catch human viruses, but I might be wrong. If he is having discharge, definitely get him checked out!

yea i meant cold / sickness the discharge is just like one small wee sticking bit that i seen after he sneezed! just like we would do when we sneeze if we have running noses

Good that you are taking him in to the Vet..
Keep us informed as how you your gf and the macaw is doing.
