Do any of your birds have and imaginary friend?

I have a golden conure he is six months old and just the most lovely, friendly, funny and affectionate bird I have ever owned. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced what my bird does? His toys represent several imaginary friends and he talks to his various toys on top of his cage and some of them are gentle friends and others need to be attacked at that time and then they obviously attack back and he runs away as if he is being chased and then starts the whole thing all over again. It's quite fun to watch. He spends endless time on his play top and each toy seems to represent an imaginary friend. I have several different toys for him and I interchange them about once a month.

Should we consider that the parront has an active imagination? :04:

I would say yes but not sure if it's a friend or rival.
Luna fights and argues with her reflection in her SS bowl.
Some of her play with toys takes on the appearance of an argument.
None of my other birds have this behavior.

Well, I never looked at it just that way, buttt...
Certain toys are indeed apparently friends and others are enemies.
Any beaded/strung/hanging toys are usually friends, deserving pleasant chatter and gentle rumpus.
Any unmounted/unhung ball-like, rolling, or circular toys are enemies, deserving only screams, destruction, and tossing to the floor, if possible.
What a fun concept!

I can't say that I noticed toys as imaginary friends of Remi's but he loves preening and "feeding" my thumb  Silly guy...

I doubt it. Unless you count his 'other' personality. You know, the one that comes out when you least expect it and don't want to see it.
