DNA test.

Hey guys I want to know how much a DNA test costs for a Sun Conure. Don't tell me to look on the internet. I have. I appreciate your help!

At Avian Biotech, the cost is $19.50 for a test using blood samples or 24.50 for a test using fresh plucked feathers.....either test is you providing the samples, ABI will provide you with free sample collection kits.....

This is the place I plan to use, they will send you free sample bags and it's inexpensive. The price for any species is the same

I had my avian vet do it, it was about $60.00

If you go to a local breeder/supply place they often do it, or a pet store that specializes in birds it runs about 30.00. They do it for you.

I had our vet do it, think it cost around £15.

But that's British Pounds, so roughly $30? Avian Biotech seems to be most peoples favourite firm to use for it though. If you can't stand the idea of stealing some blood or pulling feathers, ask your vet or breeder, they're usually more than happy to do it
