While I would love to get Lizzy a play stand, there is literally no more floor space in our tiny apartment. So after days of mentally rearranging the furniture, it hit me! She's a bird! We have plenty of AIR space! (Can you tell I'm new at this bird mom thing? )So I'm in the process of attaching perches (built and bought) and toys to the outside of her cage. This way she'll have plenty of space to play (and throw food on the cats which is her favorite pastime) and I wont have to move anything around haha.

I still have to put together the perches I'm building so it's incomplete as of yet, but she LOVES it so far!

If you get a nice java perch they make great playgyms to aattach to a cage! We do similar for my bare eyed too. She even has a boing on the front of her cage, she loves it and same thing, no floor space needed!!

I do have a very nice Java branch for her. The only thing I'm trying to work around is when I put it on, her night cover doesn't fit so I can tie it down. And I have to tie it down, because she will ever so slowly pull it off. And once it's off she yells until we put it back on lol. So the branch is inside the cage at the moment. It's actually her favorite perch :)

Those are neat! I have to use the cover though. She won't go to bed without it lol. Tried without it the first two nights we had her and she did not approve of being uncovered.
