their old one was getting ratty and it was made when i first started making toys--so it desperately needed an upgrade.

but this was my project today. it's still a bit crude, but it's better than my last one and so far dally seems to like it (tsuka isnt sure about it)

dally is comfy enough to preen herself on it and has played with their toys (they were on the old one too)

That's awesome! What did you use to make it?

i used dog rope toys, and those plastic-coated wire coat hangers, but wrapped it enough so they cant access the wire. i wouldnt recommend them for larger parrots, or super heavy chewers, but great for small gentle chewers :)

looks great^^
I made one out of coconut rope a while ago ,yours is so much better on the hands.
I love that you used different colors rope, makes it much spacier.
And Dally looks absolutely cute.
Her colors are striking.

i was going to add another ring, but i liked it how it was. i just used 2 different coloured dog ropes. i liked the pink and the white/beige together. the last one i'm using for a friend to make her conure a spiral perch/boing.

That's a great idea, using the hangers! Something like this would be perfect for Phoe, my conure:) Thanks so much for sharing!

Oooh that's so nice!! I tried to do something similar, based on some YouTube instructions but it didn't work out nearly as nice as yours. I think my wire was too thin and I unravelled the rope too much. I'm very envious of your brilliant effort! :)
