What an exciting discovery! A perfectly preserved 99 million year old dinosaur tail was discovered in a large chunk of amber. And you guessed it, it was indeed covered in feathers! They do not even look all that different to modern feathers under magnification. I will admit, I am slightly disappointed to see this tail was from a brown and white dinosaur instead of a more vibrantly colored one;)

Hey, wait one moment! Is it possible that Dinosaur Tail Feathers would not reflect their original feather colors, just like our Feathered Owner's feathers do when wet or damaged. After all, would not the same kind of effect occur when a Dinosaur Feather is incapsulated in amber?

Thanks for the Heads-up on the latest findings!!!
