I actually met Disco [early in August]. I was getting my 5 birds groomed.The place I was at was setting up ,I could tell it was going to be big . It drew in a ton of people . I watched and all I saw was a Budgie in a cage . Then I was excited [I thought this has to be Disco] and it was !!! I got to talk to the owner [she had got him the same place I got some of my birds] . I guess he does a lot of meet and greats and was on a morning show. I told her he was so famous everyone knows him on my parrot forum. There was no special training for him .They said they just talked to him a lot. Very cool anyways

Aww you are so lucky!!

Yep, budgies are so smart and underrated. My little girl was staring to learn words as well. And I saw a little budgie at the vet that could saw full sentences like disco. If given the time, they are amazing little guys

Love disco, we have a young girl in our bird Club who had a budgie that can out talk everyone else's bird!
