So every once in a while apollo will pick it's nose and blow like someone blowing out a booger. And when I say pick I mean the nail goes in the nostril and everything. Normal? And just a curiosity but it has no red on his belly at all. And its greens and Grey's are very deep but bright. It's the reason I picked it. Will it's colors stay this way or will it get a red belly?

How often is every once in awhile?
I hope yiu ho to the user cp in the blue banner at rge top of tge forum's and update yiur profile to include yiur parrot, type and hatch date. It hekps us all when we answer questions. So many members and parrots its hard to keep track:)

My parrots very rarely pick their noise..so yours msy have an infection?? Burds often have dry infections so you do not have to see a discharge, signs can be picking, rubbing, fearger loss around nostrils, swelling undwr tge eye and a groove or ridge down tge beak.

Do yiu hsve yiur digital kitc scale? Its so important to regularly check weight of yiur parrot, in rhe fut this can hp pick up health problems, so its a goid habit to develop

Mine has no red either and has the same grey and bright turquoise wings. No change after moulting several times.
