I'm sorry if I put this in the wrong place but I was wondering how does a vegetables diet work?? Do I put a second dish with vegetables in them in my cockatiel's cage or do I feed my cockatiel in the morning only or what exactly? Also, what kind of vegetables should be provided every day? I know a list of safe vegetables for parrots but what I mean is which vegetables should be given every day and doesn't need switching up to other vegetables?

You can give vegetables to your bird anytime in the day and as much as you want, it is the only food which is unlimited to give to your bird. I give vegetables to my birds in the morning, one of the reasons is that when they wake up they are naturally hungry. If you put seeds in a bowl, then vegetables in the other, nearly 100% of birds are going to go for seeds.
I like to give a big variety of vegetables cut from a food processor then frozen (but obviously thawed when given) to my birds because that way they get different kinds of vitamins and minerals all in one bite. (I also give fresh vegetables added to that chop in the morning)

My Alex bird likes shredded fresh kale, broccoli, and goes BANANNAS for cooked sweet potato.

No one veggie should be fed every day, all the time. Even on a veggie diet, variety is key. If you want something relatively healthy that you can just tip into the bowl each day, try to get your tiel to accept pellets and give a rotation of veggies to supplement and add variety.

Don't be surprised if your little one doesn't eat a lot of fruit. Tiels are not known as big fruit eaters. I can get Alex to eat apples if I chop them veeeerrrryyyy small, or if he thinks he isn't supposed to eat the apple, lol.

oooh so I can offer her vegetables any time but she might not eat some in her cage? thank you both for explaining

Cockatiels aren't usually much fans of fruits. But they love veggies, especially peppers and anything that has some heat to it! Be sure to chop up the veggies pretty fine -- my tiels don't touch anything that isn't chopped up lol. Right now my 4 cockatiels are enjoying a batch of birdie corn bread muffins with peas, carrots, green beans, broccoli and jalapenos (chopped) and served warm, yum!!
