Deworming

Hello everyone, just looking for opinions/experiences regarding deworming. Should it be a routine thing? There are alot of different opinions on the net about it.

The reality is; Worms in the digestive system of 'Companion Parrots' (those kept in-doors) is very rare. If you are maintaining a clear separation between the great outdoors and the interior of your home it would be uncommon for your Companion Parrot to have worms. As a result, scheduled deworming would not be needed. That does not mean that regular visits to your Avian Medical Professional should not be in place.
