That is interesting. Could just be unique to him, as how he expresses affection. Does he lick other stuff? If he does spend time licking random stuff id have him checked out. If its just you he lick probably fine.

My Quaker does this too! I was wondering if it was normal or not lol. He mostly just licks my hands but he will lick my face too sometimes

It's normal, in my house anyways. Probably because after we sweat a little we taste slightly salty.
