I am looking at different veggie and fruit mixes to give to my Blue (Sun Conure).

I am thinking the freeze dried would be better compares to regular dehydrated. The freeze dried has virtually no remaining moisture content so they don't spoil as quickly.

Which do you prefer?

Thank you!

i give fresh veggies and fruits they are so much healthier for them for dried ones!

I've only ever fed fresh, and as the food is changed daily, spoiling isn't much of a problem. I have a variety of vegetables in the fridge, which is where they are stored.

our amazon will have the occasional prune and he loves the dried apple rings and banana chips, but I dont use the dried fruit to replace the fresh

Why are you interested in feeding your bird dried foods when virtually all of the preservatives used are dangerous to our feathered friends. You might want to speak with an avian vet before changing your bird's diet to any of these products.....

Dried have to be sulfide-free to be safe and healthy.
