There's a movie called Deep Blue Sea which is about a few scientists who genetically engineer sharks to have a thirst for human blood. They worked in an undersea lab. Their lab's chef had a parrot. Beautiful bird, it was a Blue-Fronted Amazon, I believe. Then an accident happens, the lab breaks down starts to flood and the sharks escape, eating some of the scientists one by one. The chef almost got eaten by one of the sharks but guess who did. His parrot. When I saw the scene of his parrot dying and getting eaten, I cried. It was heartbreaking because the guy got upset and actually eneded up blowing the shark to bits. (serves the damn thing right)

I know it's just a movie, but it's sad. Poor birdie :(

Damn sharks, in movies, they always got to eat everything.

I believe the chef was none other than LL KOOL J if I remmeber correctly.:)

I think I saw my grandfather watching this one time, I seem to remember this. Poor birdie. :( But, that's hollywood for ya. :p

 Just watched it on youtube, poor bird. Scientist got his own back though "You ate ma bird"! LOL. Gotta love sharks, but if one ate my birds....lookout.

Maybe as a change of pace, something new out of Hollywood, how about a killer parrot that eats sharks?.....lol :p

Aww, but then all the shark forums would be sad;). Besides there is always Alfred Hitchcock's film 'The Birds', not quite parrots nor are they eating sharks, but killers none the less:p
