Alright so I have been lookin into alot f different birds and I have finally decided and got my heart set on an african grey. But I'm not sure if I should get a Congo or a timneh.I'd like a Congo cause its a bit bigger and all but I heard that their alot more prone to feather plucking? Is that true? And is there any other facts I need to know about them?

Congratulation on your decision to get an AG. I own one for only 2 weeks now but he is adorable.
I can't tell you about feather plucking, but I can advise you to read some books or articles about AG to be better prepared and to look for a good and reliable breeder. Those two things helped me a lot.
Good luck.

There pretty much the same and it depends on the bird. Usually I choose by which one is availible and close the breeder is. Maybe flip a coin or pluck flower petals ? I don't have that much info

Thanks everyone :) and I have anther question.I know the famous bird diapers scare most birds(including my quaker) but do you think if I got a bird diaper from the time I got it(which I'll be hand feeding it some) will it get used to it better that way?

Well, about the plucking issue, they say grey do tend to do that more than the timneh... The CAG is more sensible to changeS than the Timneh and also more reserved. I wouldn't make my choice of bird based on that... Just make sure to stimulate your bird, with toys, time out of the cage, if you leave for a few hours let something play in the backgroung...
