Here's a few photos of the little green monster from the past few weeks. Been trying to get a good one of him flying, but this is proving to he extremely difficult indoors for finding good camera settings. Lighting this time of year is pretty lame, as well. IIRC, the local weather man said December saw 7 days of sun; only one day was a full day of sun. Winter and its eternal cloud-cover. LOL!

Ah, well. Still fun!

All those pin feathers on his forehead crack me up.

STUNNING photos, Marybeth!!! WOW!!! Yes, I can see the pinnies, but it doesn't take away from one seriously gorgeous bird. :D

Thanks! :) Glad you enjoy them! It's fun chasing them around with a camera. ;)
lol!

Anytime you want to post pictures I'm game for looking a them! I love pics!

Zilla tries to "taste" the other birds she sees on the computer screen, but we're working on that...LOL :D

There is one of those at this crappy pet store we have locally. I have never seen one in such good condition, looking as happy as yours. That is one gorgeous healthy looking bird. It makes me pity that poor thing in the store that much more :( I should try to get a photo of that one when I go in there next. His colors look so dull, he looks so lifeless. Yours looks like an entirely different bird, like they can't be the same thing. But I can tell they are from the closeup. I'm so glad to see one that healthy and engaged in happy activity. They are such beautiful birds. Every time I go in there I stare into his eyes and try to communicate empathy and love, I tell him how much I wish I could take him home-he almost looks like he understands. I wish to God she would sell him.

Wow, your pictures are always so stunning! And so are your models:) It is obvious how healthy and happy that Mopar is:)

Amanda - LOL!!! I love Zilla, she seems like such a little character! :)

Minimaker - That sounds so sad! :( I hope that the poor little bird there will get some help someday. Or perhaps his owner just needs to be better informed on how to take care of them. You would think that being a pet store, they would... but alas, that's not true.

I do try my best to keep these guys happy. I know it's not perfect, but I strive to be the best I can be for them! And that's all we can do. :) Couldn't imagine life without either one them. They are just such joy to have around.

I had to go into the icky pet store yesterday to pick up some calcium perches for my macaw enclosure so I got a chance to snap a couple photos with my phone of that amazon that I thought was similar to yours. Poor thing. Here's the difference between well cared for and healthy (yours) and one that isn't :( Now you know why I wanted to get that poor little conure outta that place. Unfortunately she won't sell this one or most of the others.
