Does anyone else notice a marked change in their birds behavior after the loss of daylight savings time? My 35 year old BFA becomes very tired for the week or two after. He wants to go to sleep earlier than usual, and plays less. Once he gets used to the change, he goes back to normal.

I think the earlier darkness has something to do with it. Anybody else have any ideas? :green:

Not sure about the birds but I am always immensly relieved we are 'back to normal'; I hate this messing about with time with a passion!

Just like you do with children (who will get hungry at the wrong time etc. till they adapt) I always start a subtle change in their routine 2 weeks before the clock gets changed again-- so instead of *boink* one hour difference there is a gradual slide of a few minutes every day.

I don't care what they set it to just quit changing it!

My birds adjusted no problem. I could finally sleep in, but no my human brain keeps waking up! :( Im for not changing!
