Cuttlebones

I'm not sure, but I put one for mine, and he nibbles on it once in a while. :)

I give my birds a cuttlebone to destroy from time to time. I sprinkle ground cuttlebone into soft food every few days.

Parrots do benefit from cuttlebones. It's both rich in calcium and good for their beak when they chew it up. Kiwi gets one about once a month, and he chews through it within a couple days.

What I much more strongly recommend for parrots that come naturally from the amazon basin (which includes conure) is a manu clay block. It is something these parrots eat in nature for the nutrients and has properties that aid in their digestion- Manu Mineral Block (Lg)

I have cuttlebones in all my cages:) The big guys finish it in one sitting usually and I replace once a week for them, but the smaller guys always have one available.
