A very cute photo of my daughter and Audrey at the vet today. I'm happy to say today was Audrey's last vet visit! (For a while I hope anyway lol!)

The vets love Audrey, she is very calm and friendly, and they love giving her cuddles.

Wow your Ekkie is soo beautiful! Now is it a Solomons sub species? My wife recently talked me or let's say delayed me out of getting a Red Bellied and Meyers for a Female Ekkie! My breeder told that there is one more person that is ahead far as choosing the 1st baby. I told there's no rush on my end since I need time to buy a cage, toys etc. This will be my first big medium bird. I plan to get a male Ekkie next year. Now does Ekkie allow you to kiss it? Did you have your Ekkie get her shots? My breeder strongly recommends for Ekkies and Caiques to get these special shots annually. My wife and I have not chosen name yet. Now does you Ekkie talk? From what I read so about them is that genders have the potenial to be great talkers!

Thank you. She is a red-sided eclectus. Good luck on getting your first medium sized bird! She does let me kiss her, she even gives me kisses. No she hasn't had any shots, she has however had needles for an infection she had, which has cleared up now. I know some people do give them annual shots.
My girl doesn't talk properly yet, she says "Hop Up" but that is the only words, she makes the sounds of other words and is trying to work it out. She has been a late talker, I sometimes wonder if she will talk. Most eclectus DO have great talking abilities though!
