Curious about deleted photos

I'm just curious as to why, when coming across previously posted Photobucket photos (both mine and others') after some time the photo is no longer there, and is replaced by a white square which says: "Sorry. This person moved or deleted this image."
Edit: it says this when for a fact I haven't done anything to remove the image

MikeyTN might be the one to ask about that. As i recall there was an issue about storage, like they only keep some things for a certain amount of time. I know i've look for post i made a longtime ago and they are no longer. I think you can only go back 500 post.

I thought about the storage, and I can understand that if we're talking about photos posted directly through the forum, but since Photobucket photos reside in a completely different place from the PF server then why? That's my question.

I was just looking for photos on image shack and can't find them??? What's up with that? Good lord, i've been here 4 yrs longer than you and you have almost as many post as me. Guess i need to "tighten up".LOL

With Photobucket if the image is ever moved to a new PB album, or deleted then the link that's pasted in the forum is rendered useless.

Yes... Come to think about it, I think they were ones I deleted from PB because I didn't think I needed them there since they're already in my 'camera roll' on the iPhone.
I also went to Apple the other day, and we had to uninstall/reinstall the whole app to make it work properly again. Thanks Shirre.

Aha! Yep, that'll do it!!

If you want to make storage room on your phone, delete the pics from your camera roll- better yet, sync your phone and download all your pictures to your computer THEN delete them from your camera roll.
