Cupramine dangerous to parakeet?

Hello,
Slight background, my saltwater tank has an infection spreading and I need to quarantine the fish. The hospital tank is near Zazu’s cage and I need to treat with seachem cupramine. I know some fish medicines like melafix have toxic fumes. I have asked on reef forums and done some research and have found that it shouldn’t be a problem. Being constantly paranoid, I would like to go for another opinion, so here’s my question:
Does seachem cupramine release toxic fumes and has anyone else ever had to treat fish with it near their bird?
