The T-bird's new thing is crawling under the blanket and settling in for a nap. Very nice until she wakes up and starts putting holes in shirts and blankets.

Awww...that is too cute!

Well she's a very cute bird. When i'm travelling on business I miss having the green bird with the orange beak around!

Digging under covers can stimulate nesting behavior. Though not always. I had an older Congo Grey, that liked to snuggle under a small blanket in his cage to sleep. and never got very hormonal from it.

What does it mean to stimulate nesting behavior? Is that something I should try to avoid? Tango like to get under the covers and stick her head out so you get scratch her neck, head and beak.

Our Alex loves doing this as well. We have also been advised that this a type of nesting behaviour so we try to limit it. But it is still cute. Bundii is our first female bird so I am still learning the ropes.

Oh that is a super cute picture. My Rory likes to be covered at bed time also.
