I have a sweetheart Jenday Conure who is 4 months old, and we will be adding a new member to the family- still trying to decide between a Chrimson Bellied or a Caique. I love Conures, just don't appreciate their loud shrills- my Jenday is actually really quiet and only calls out in the morning, when I come home from work to greet me, and at bedtime. Otherwise you don't hear a peep! We got lucky with him. I've owned a sun in the past, and she was also well behaved in this way. Anyway, I've been reading a lot about the CBC and loved everything about them. Here are my questions:
1. Will it be easier for my Jenday to get along with a CBC vs a Caique since the CBC is the same species?
2. If my Jenday does bond with the CBC or the Caique, will he no longer bond to me or my family?
3. I have two kids ages 2 and 3, which parrot (CBC or Caique) would be a better fit for a family with kids in terms of friendliness and tolerance ?
4. Will having two conures make them less lonely? Can they be caged together?
Any other thought about the CBC? I think they are just stunning!!
