Without seeing a close up pic its hard to say, but parrots slough off the top layers of their beaks throughout the year, most notably during molting time, it should appear as surface cracks, not as cracks that go completely through the beak, you also want to make sure nothing gets into the cracks, such as food or toy parts ect that can lead to problems down the line, so for the most part, the appearence of small cracks or the look of chipping is normal.........
My got my Congo grey a year ago, but I live in Lebanon so we don't get documents with birds so I can know his age , no I haven't check it with a vet yet coz we don't have bird spe******ts.
