So, Sherlock is coming up on 5 months old and he is slowly outgrowing some of his clumsiness. I have found him hanging upside down from the top of his cage recently on several occasions and he will walk across the top of the cage hanging upside down too.
But, he seems to be scared to death of walking on a flat slick surface like a coffee table or our hardwood floors. He has recently discovered the trick of hoping down off his play stand and exploring upstairs (carpeted) but if I even set him down for a second on the coffee table he totally freaks out, starts screaming and flapping away.
I had been thinking about getting him a platform perch for his cages since my Meyers used to love his platform perch and I think it helps to give their toes a break, but I just don't think Sherlock would use a wood or stone platform at this point.
Had anyone else seen this in their Grey? Is it just a stage he will grow out of?
