my husband and i are interested in some more fids, not so soon but maybe in a year or so. i grew up with a dhy amazon when i was kid. well, now i want a bigger bird besides my conures. i really like either a galah, some type of amazon, or a cag. dh likes the galah and cag, too.
a few bird shops i go to, i see they keep all the bappies together in the brooder. would it be possible to get a baby galah, cag, or amazon, either of these parrots and keep them together while they get forumla and learn to like each other? it seems nearly impossible to get my gcc and nanday to get along as adults. i thought 2 babies would learn to be together. :54: my hubby actually said ok to me when i asked if we could get 2 babies at the same time...omg!!
would this work? anyone try this? i was thinking i could get one of the bird shops to put together either of the 2 parrots we like and try to keep them together the entire time there. i know this would sure cost a lot to buy 2 parrots together.
